I’m an independent filmmaker born in Montreal, Canada.

As a young girl, I often found myself dancing on tables at gatherings of the Greek Canadian community. Years later, I went on to receive formal ballet training at Balanchine’s School of American Ballet and performed internationally (although not on tables) with leading ballet companies including the Miami City Ballet. At 21, I was forced to quit due to a knee injury. Later, I studied Film & Television production at NYU’s Tisch School of The Arts.

Today, I’m a passionate filmmaker and storyteller with over fifteen years experience working in the film, television, web and advertising industry. With the advent of digital video, I’ve often worked as a one (wo)man show from field-producing to shooting to editing and have produced a variety of projects from low-budget indies to consumer insights for major Ad agencies. A 2003 NY Foundation for the Arts Film Fellow, I’ve received best film awards at festivals internationally.

The thread that connects my experience and what keeps me going is the need to tell stories that move, inspire, and create change – big or SMALL.
